Château des Vallons
2 Rue André Aubaret, 47260 Verteuil d'Agenais D'AGENAIS
- Lot-et-Garonne
- Nouvelle-Aquitaine
The main building, located to the southeast, was built by the de Caumont family in the late 16th century or early 17th century. The west main building was restored to a school in 1839\. The entire building was abandoned in 1996.
The wing built at the end of the 16th century or the beginning of the 17th century has been restored, renamed Château des Vallons and transformed into a hotel. The castle was registered as a Historic Monument on 10 January 1996.
Château des Vallons overlooks the countryside. It features a terrace, garden, luxurious library, antique furniture and paintings. It is a real parenthesis «out of time» to live.
