Guided tour of the Brou de Laurière hotel
The founder of the endowment fund, Patrick de Brou de Laurière, bequeathed the mansion, 7 avenue Georges Pompidou in Périgueux that he lived, wishing that this house becomes the headquarters and that we can continue activities to make it live.
Created in 2010, the endowment fund was named after its founder Patrick de Brou de Laurière. The purpose of this fund is to fund medical research, promote art therapy and help sick people.
The house had to be completely rehabilitated because it was not at current safety standards: electrical installation, plans of the opening to the public, accessibility for the disabled, etc. This rehabilitation was carried out in accordance with the rules of conservation of historic monuments since the building, its outbuildings and its park have been included in the Supplementary Inventory of Historic Monuments since 2006.
On the occasion of the European Heritage Days on 16 and 17 September 2023, guided tours of the Brou de Laurière Hotel will be organized, from 2pm to 5pm.
