Take part in a tour of all the floors of the house with a presentation of historical data, the latest discoveries and discover the results of an ongoing archaeological survey. Florent presents the Batcave house and its history. It is a historic building that has gone through the ages, since the Middle Ages, and has kept a very large number of the modifications it has undergone. This historical introspection makes it possible to understand the house, its involvement, its importance, but also to trace small pieces of history of Orthez in the Béarn. On Sundays, enjoy a sweet-savoury brunch with various choices according to the tastes of each allowing you to eat peacefully before visiting the house or play games with friends or family.

It is one of the oldest houses of Orthez built in the Middle Ages, between the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries, which used to serve as a refuge for the inhabitants of Bourg-Vieux d'Orthez. The large room on the ground floor has very thick walls and defences like loopholes.
