@ Laurence Kus

Enjoy the open doors of the Botsuak workshop for the whole family!
During the European Heritage Days, the Botsuak workshop offers you an immersion in the world of puppets, by visiting its exhibition-sale space and its manufacturing space.
You can wander freely among puppets of all kinds (string, table, hand, stave, Chinese shadow, etc...) from the imagination of two puppetry craftsmen: Laurence Kus and Rui de Basto.
You will discover how this art that dates back to very ancient times and that we find throughout the world fits perfectly in our time and combines very well with the notion of recovery of materials and objects. The creations are based as much on ancient puppet techniques as on some of the new forms of this art, in great evolution.
Young and old, with family or friends, you can watch, learn about manufacturing methods, techniques, materials used, but also manipulate entertaining puppets, full of fantasy. The youngest will have the opportunity to go behind a Shadow Puppet Theatre and learn about shadow puppetry like real professionals!
To parents, grandparents, educators, we will discover our workshop animation proposals for children, teens and themselves. Certainly everyone will come out of this visit with desires, ideas and tricks of puppet creation.
Laurence and Rui will have the pleasure of welcoming you and sharing their passion with you.

The Atelier Botsuak - a barn-workshop of art crafts - is a place of manufacture, animation and fantastic exhibition of puppets of all kinds.
The puppets, puppets and castelets made and presented are largely made from the recovery of objects, usual or unusual, and materials at the end of life. The creations are intended for sale to the general public and professionals and can be made to order.
During the visits and the Open Doors, the public roams freely among the puppets. Big or small, with family or friends, can watch, learn about the manufacturing methods, the techniques, the materials used and can also handle puppets entertaining and full of fantasy. The youngest particularly like to animate, like real professionals, the Chinese shadow puppets in the castelet dedicated to them.
Atelier Botsuak offers, for all audiences, introductory workshops to the manufacture of marionnnettes based on recovery during "puppet-recycling" animations. Visits or activities take place by appointment or
