Trees also have a story! Discover the oldest magnolia that the public garden secretly keeps within. Born in the eighteenth century in the form of a French garden, this green space was transformed in the nineteenth century, in an English style: winding paths, large lawns, a pond dotted with islands... In 1857, a 42-year-old magnolia was transferred from the former plant garden. It will then take several days and many adventures to carry it until then. This tree still exists, but a doubt hangs over its location. This treasure hunt invites you to solve a series of puzzles to discover the different arrangements made in the nineteenth century and, at the key, you will be entrusted with the secret of the location of this old treasure of magnolia.

The botanical garden of the public garden is the historic botanical garden of Bordeaux, complementary to the botanical garden of the right bank of the Garonne. It is a place of knowledge of plants and systematics. In addition, it plays a role in scientific innovation by contributing to the preservation of rare plant species.
