Exhibition of ancient and contemporary tapestries and demonstration of low-smooth tapestry
Discover an exhibition of ancient and contemporary tapestries (from the 16th to the 20th century) and the works of the invited artists with Céline Ferron (Atelier CC Brindelaine) and France-Odile Perrin-Crinière (Atelier A2), lissières, Clémentine Dalais-Guillot, visual artist, Vincent Mane, cabinetmaker designer. Saturday, September 16, from 2pm to 6pm, you will attend a demonstration of weaving on low-smooth craft by Céline Ferron, craftswoman of textile-smoothing art, who favors local and traceable wool and natural dyes. The tapestry is a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Site.
The Jabert gallery welcomes you in one of the most beautiful residences of Aubusson (stair tower, facades and roof listed in the inventory of historical monuments).
