The City Hall illustrates both the neo-Renaissance style, modelled on the Paris City Hall of the early Third Republic, and the Art Deco style, by the remarkable interior decorations created during its expansion in 1935. Some exceptional decorations have allowed it to benefit from classification measures under the title of Historic Monuments. The facade restoration project (2020-2022) made it possible to restore the building to its former glory.

A product of two distinct periods of construction, the City Hall illustrates both the neo-Renaissance style, inspired by the model that constituted the Paris City Hall at the beginning of the Third Republic, and the Art Deco style, by the remarkable interior improvements made during its expansion in the 1930s. The best craftsmen and industrialists of the period participated, as did the Brandt establishments for the ironwork of art.
