The church of Saint-Lubin welcomes the heart of a community. Built between 1868 and 1871 according to the will of the commune by the architect Anatole de Baudot, the emperor Napoleon III also participated by a gift of his personal cassette. Since then, the parishioners of Rambouillet have regularly embellished the church, one of the largest in the diocese, which continues to welcome them, especially during baptisms, confirmations, confessions, marriages, ordinations, funerals and many Sunday services, without forgetting concerts open to all. A very lively church!

Completed in 1871, the church of Saint-Lubin is a work of youth of Anatole de Baudot, the greatest of the students of Viollet-le-Duc. The latter paved the way for 20th-century architecture. Successive renovations, including the installation of stained glass windows by Gabriel Loire in 1970, have profoundly transformed our perception of this architectural work, which deserves to be honored. The recent cleaning of the tower-porch has thus revealed the blondness of the stone.
