  • Île-de-France
The Fort du Sucy is one of the few works open to the public of the second fortified belt of Paris. Typical late 19th century military architecture. This building was built by Séré de Rivières between 1874 and 1885 on the edge of the plateau of Brie on the site of the Prussian canons of the siege of 1870\. The forts of the second belt had to keep a possible assailant at bay. This place served as a logistics center for a resistance center in 1914.
