Built around 1760, the current Maison du combattant is a country house commissioned from the architect Nicolas Le Camus de Mézières. It was transformed into a Town Hall in 1874, while part of the garden was dedicated to the new schools. Inside you can discover the wedding room decorated in 1901 by the painter Eugène Simas. These paintings restored in 2003 represent rural scenes that recall the landscapes of Créteil in the nineteenth century. When municipal services left in 1974, the building was assigned to the Veterans Affairs Agreement Committee. On this occasion, visitors can also discover some surprises prepared by a group of flute students from the Marcel Dadi Conservatory.
