The Montmartre Museum offers you a dive into the history of Montmartre and the collections of the association of history and archaeology Le Vieux Montmartre. The workshops of 12-14, rue Cortot were the meeting place and residence of many artists: Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Raoul Dufy or Suzanne Valadon, Maurice Utrillo and André Utter nicknamed "the infernal trio".
The tour, guided by Jean-Manuel Gabert, president of Vieux Montmartre, will retrace the history of this unique place that remains imbued with the soul of these personalities and present the collections.
For the curious, it will be possible to visit on Sunday 17 September between 14:30 and 17:30, part of the archives of Old Montmartre which are full of historical and unusual treasures. You will discover how the archives work and their conservation.

The Museum of Montmartre takes place in old houses of the Butte. These residences, surrounded by gardens, were the place of creation of many artists such as Auguste Renoir, Émile Bernard, Raoul Dufy, Charles Camoin, Suzanne Valadon or Maurice Utrillo. You will discover the permanent collections with a unique collection of paintings, posters and drawings that will make you relive the history of the Butte, the artistic effervescence of its workshops, and the atmosphere of its famous cabarets.
