Rare example in Île de France of fortified house XIVe century. Built by Jean de Montagu, minister of Charles VI, it was rebuilt in the seventeenth century by the Cochefilet, Sully’s family-in-law. The castle is surrounded by moats delimiting a park structured by boxwood and embellished with flowery massifs. A wooded part, with alleys, invites to the walk with notably the entrance of the medieval underground. After a guided tour, you can walk through the park with its many hydrangeas and discover memories of 1914-1944.
