The European Heritage Days are an opportunity to open the garden and terrace of the Hôtel de Vendôme and the library to the public. The Hotel de Vendôme was built in 1707 by the architect Le Blond for the Chartreux, on the edge of Rue d'Enfer. It houses the engineering school Mines Paris - PSL, a mineralogy museum, the first in the world as a systematic collection, a first-class heritage library.
