Die Bibliothek des Arsenals ist zusammen mit Tolbiac, Richelieu und der Oper einer der vier Pariser Standorte der Bibliothèque nationale de France. Dieses historische Gebäude ist die ehemalige Residenz der großen Meister der Artillerie, die über das Arsenal wachten und dem Viertel seinen Namen gaben. Antoine-René d'Argenson, Marquis de Paulmy, ließ sich Mitte des 18. Jahrhunderts hier nieder und sammelte eine umfangreiche enzyklopädische Sammlung von Büchern, Manuskripten und Drucken, die für Gelehrte und Gelehrte geöffnet war. Dieser Fonds, der durch revolutionäre Konfiszierungen erheblich bereichert wurde, ist bis zu uns ständig gewachsen. Die Bibliothek beherbergt täglich Forscher und Gelehrte.
Dieser Ort ist auch ein historisches Denkmal mit außergewöhnlichem Dekor, das selten der Öffentlichkeit gezeigt wird. Das gesamte Gebäude ist mit Erlass vom 27. Oktober 2003 unter Denkmalschutz gestellt worden. Das Hôtel de l'Artillerie ist auf den Überresten der Stadtmauer von Karl V. gebaut (noch in den Kellern sichtbar und unter der Esplanade vorhanden). Sein ältester Teil ist die Galerie aus der Zeit von Sully, Nordseite. Eine zweite Galerie wurde auf der Südseite im 18. Jahrhundert vom Architekten Germain Boffrand hinzugefügt. Der Architekt Théodore Labrouste vervollständigte das Ensemble im 19. Jahrhundert durch den Bau von zwei Pavillons im Osten und Westen.
Die Besichtigungstour 2023 zeigt: La Meilleraye und das Kabinett der starken Frauen, eine bemerkenswerte Wohnung aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Der Lesesaal und seine ursprüngliche Dekoration des zweiten Reiches. Der Musiksalon und seine Möbel in einem in Frankreich einzigartigen Steingarten aus dem 18. Jahrhundert. Die seltenen Sully-Säle, die aus der Restauration stammen. Der Rundgang wird von den Demonstrationen der Restaurierungswerkstatt und einer außergewöhnlichen Ausstellung von illuminierten Handschriften, alten Drucken und Archiven der Bastille belebt.

The Bibliothèque de l'Arsenal is, along with Tolbiac, Richelieu and l'Opéra, one of the four Parisian sites of the Bibliothèque nationale de France. This historic building is the former residence of the great masters of the artillery watching over the Arsenal and having given its name to the district. Antoine-René d'Argenson, Marquis de Paulmy, settled there in the middle of the 18th century and gathered a vast encyclopedic collection of books, manuscripts and prints open to scholars and people of letters. This fund, significantly enriched by the revolutionary confiscations, has continued to grow until us. The library welcomes researchers and scholars on a daily basis.
This place is also a historical monument with exceptional decorations, rarely shown to the public. The building is fully classified as a Historic Monument by order of 27 October 2003. The Artillery Hotel is built on the vestige of the rampart of Charles V (still visible in the cellars and present under the esplanade). Its oldest part is the gallery built in the time of Sully, north side. A second gallery was added on the south side in the 18th century by the architect Germain Boffrand. The architect Théodore Labrouste completed the complex in the 19th century with the construction of two pavilions, to the east and west.
The 2023 tour will discover: La Meilleraye and the Cabinet des femmes forts, a remarkable 17th century painted apartment. The reading room and its original decor of the Second Empire. The music room and its furniture in an 18th century rockery decor unique in France. The Sully rooms rare remains of reading room dating from the Restoration. The route will be animated by demonstrations of the restoration workshop and an exceptional exhibition of illuminated manuscripts, old prints and archives of the Bastille.

La Bibliothèque del'Arsenal è, con Tolbiac, Richelieu e l'Opéra, uno dei quattro siti parigini della Biblioteca nazionale di Francia. Questo edificio storico è l'antica residenza dei grandi maestri dell'artiglieria che sorvegliano l'Arsenale e che hanno dato il nome al quartiere. Antoine-René d'Argenson, marchese di Paulmy, vi si trasferì alla metà del XVIII secolo e vi raccolse una vasta collezione enciclopedica di libri, manoscritti e stampe aperta a studiosi e letterati. Questo fondo, notevolmente arricchito dalle confische rivoluzionarie, non ha smesso di crescere fino a noi. La biblioteca ospita il quotidiano studiosi e ricercatori.
Questo luogo è anche un monumento storico con scenari eccezionali, raramente mostrato al pubblico. L'edificio è interamente classificato come Monumenti Storici con decreto del 27 ottobre 2003. L'Hotel del'Artillerie è costruito sui resti delle mura di Carlo V (ancora visibile nelle cantine e presente sotto la spianata). La sua parte più antica è la galleria costruita ai tempi di Sully, lato nord. Una seconda galleria fu aggiunta a sud nel XVIII secolo dall'architetto Germain Boffrand. L'architetto Théodore Labrouste completa l'insieme nel XIX secolo con la costruzione di due padiglioni, ad est e ad ovest.
Il circuito di visita 2023 permetterà di scoprire: La Meilleraye e il Cabinet des femmes fortes, un notevole appartamento dipinto del XVII secolo. La sala di lettura e il suo arredamento originale del Secondo Impero. Il salone di musica e i suoi mobili in un arredamento rocaille del XVIII secolo unico in Francia. I rari saloni Sully resti della sala lettura risalente alla Restaurazione. Il percorso sarà animato dalle dimostrazioni del laboratorio di restauro e da una mostra eccezionale di manoscritti miniati, stampe antiche e archivi della Bastiglia.

La Bibliothèque de l'Arsenal est, avec Tolbiac, Richelieu et l’Opéra, un des quatre sites parisiens de la Bibliothèque nationale de France. Ce bâtiment historique est l'ancienne résidence des grands maîtres de l'artillerie veillant sur l’Arsenal et ayant donné son nom au quartier. Antoine-René d'Argenson, marquis de Paulmy, s’y installe au milieu du 18e siècle et y rassemble une vaste collection encyclopédique de livres, de manuscrits et d'estampes ouverte aux savants et gens de lettres. Ce fonds, notablement enrichi par les confiscations révolutionnaires, n’a cessé de s’accroître jusqu’à nous. La bibliothèque accueille au quotidien chercheurs et érudits.
Ce lieu est aussi un monument historique aux décors exceptionnels, rarement montrés au public. Le bâtiment est classé en totalité au titre des Monuments Historiques par arrêté du 27 octobre 2003. L’Hôtel de l’Artillerie est construit sur le vestige du rempart de Charles V (encore visible dans les caves et présent sous l’esplanade). Sa partie la plus ancienne est la galerie construite du temps de Sully, côté nord. Une seconde galerie est ajoutée côté sud au 18e siècle par l’architecte Germain Boffrand. L’architecte Théodore Labrouste complète l’ensemble au 19e siècle par la construction de deux pavillons, à l’est et à l’ouest.

Este edificio histórico es la antigua residencia de los grandes maestros de la artillería que vela sobre el Arsenal y que dio su nombre al barrio. Antoine-René d'Argenson, marqués de Paulmy, se instala allí a mediados del siglo XVIII y reúne una vasta colección enciclopédica de libros, manuscritos y grabados abierta a los sabios y literatos. Este fondo, enriquecido notablemente por las confiscaciones revolucionarias, no ha dejado de crecer hasta nosotros. La biblioteca acoge diariamente a investigadores y eruditos.
Este lugar es también un monumento histórico con decoraciones excepcionales, raramente mostradas al público. El edificio está clasificado en su totalidad como Monumentos Históricos por decreto del 27 de octubre de 2003. El Hotel de l'Artillerie está construido sobre el vestigio de la muralla de Carlos V (todavía visible en las bodegas y presente bajo la explanada). Su parte más antigua es la galería construida en la época de Sully, en el lado norte. Una segunda galería fue añadida en el siglo XVIII por el arquitecto Germain Boffrand.
