The association A la Découverte du Fort de Sucy offers visits in period costume to better discover and understand this exceptional military site. Built in 1879 to reinforce the protection of Paris after the siege of 1870, the Fort never fought in the two world wars. Visit its exceptional entrance building, its casemates in the ditch or its sleepers flanked by shooting platforms. On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the City of Sucy proposes to highlight the Liberation of Sucy with an exhibition on Fernande Doudot, local heroine, produced by the «Watchers of Memory».
