On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the General Stores open their doors to the public for an architectural visit of the entire building in the presence of the architect of its rehabilitation, Frédéric Jung.
Built in the early 1930s, the General Stores have marked Pantinoise industrial activity for more than four decades. Abandoned and disused at the end of the 90s, the place is invested by graffiti artists around the world and is then called «cathedral of graffiti». In 2016, the advertising agency BETC publicly inaugurated the general stores converted by the architect Frédéric Jung. They began their new life by becoming both a collective workplace and a new cultural venue for new voices in the heart of Greater Paris.
This heritage visit can be followed by a free visit of the exhibition After the Eclipse and/ or a heritage visit of the National Dance Center, located 20 minutes walk along the Canal de l'Ourcq (on registration).
