The opening of the Hotel Pereire, the headquarters of the Simone and Cino Del Duca Foundation - Institut de France, will give rise to a visit itinerary with photo, video and archive material.
The lounges will be exceptionally open to visitors. Three rooms will be decorated with a mediation with the themes of the history of the Hotel Pereire, the Couple Del Duca and the actions of the foundation today.
In the Cordoba Room, a video presentation of the hotel will be broadcast. She will return to the construction of the building in 1879, its history through the path of the Pereire family, the successive owners and finally its acquisition, in 1975, by Simone Del Duca to make it the seat of its foundation.
In the Grand Salon, the story of the Del Duca couple will be presented. Here we will see the career of Cino Del Duca, a man of the press who made a fortune in publishing and whose wife, Simone Del Duca, wanted to bring to life the memory and philanthropic actions undertaken with her husband, by creating the Simone and Cino Del Duca Foundation.
In the Vigny Salon, will be exhibited the actions put in place today by the foundation. The philanthropic activity on the one hand, but also the various «provisions» of which the hotel is the subject and which allow it to live.
