Wide open to the surrounding nature thanks to its double exposure, this true «transparent» castle opens to the east on the French garden and on an exceptional panorama that earned it its name of Beauregard, and to the west on the courtyard of honour and the recently restored moat offering a remarkable perspective lined with century-old lime trees. Inhabited all year round, it is fully furnished and contains many portraits and family memories. From the summer lounge to the library to the green lounge and dining room, its interior decor reflects a refined and delicate lifestyle.

À propos du lieu

Château de Saint-Jean de Beauregard
Rue du Château 91940 Saint-Jean-de-Beauregard

  • Île-de-France
Restored and maintained with passion by its owners, this family property has retained all the charm and authenticity of its seventeenth century environment: a furnished and still inhabited castle, the largest dovecote of Ile-Louisde France and an amazing flower garden unique for its plant diversity and labeled Remarkable Garden. Every year, the European Heritage Days allow visitors to discover a little-known aspect of the castle with the owners. The guided tours of the interior of the castle will be an opportunity to fall under the charm of its remarkably preserved decoration and the floral settings realized with the flowers of the garden. Finally, the flowered vegetable garden will be revealed in all its fall generosity with its collections of rare vegetables, dahlias and centenary fruit trees.
