Discovery of the Impressionist House of Argenteuil
For its second participation in the European Heritage Days, come and discover the Argenteuil home of the famous painter Claude Monet.
Located opposite the railway station, the pavilion where the Monet family lived from 1874 to 1878, is now occupied by an intimate cultural space that explores the links between the painter and the city. Looking like a Swiss chalet, pretty green shutters, pale pink facade, the Impressionist House Claude Monet evokes the presence of the master in Argenteuil through a course accessible to all, sound, interactive, digital and immersive. On the program: discovery of an innovative scenography inspired by typical 19th century interiors, mixing the spirit of Monet’s masterpieces with the history of Argenteuil.
In the garden enjoy our workshops and demonstrations!
On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the painting "Poppies" painted in Argenteuil, the Impressionist House offers a floral and interactive discovery for the whole family.
