From Vogue to Midilive to Villetaneuse: visit the music studios
Guided tour: from Vogue to Midilive to Villetaneuse
Located about fifteen kilometers from Paris between the Epinay-Villetaneuse (SNCF) and Saint Denis (RER) stations, the MIDILIVE studios are an emblematic place whose action is based on musical creation since its origin.
Witnesses of the apogee of vinyl, the studios, built from 1975, were born of a family house that chained successes and produced many stars: the house VOGUE, a record company, 100% French who gave his first chance to many artists who record for his brand: Pierre Perret, Johnny Hallyday, Antoine, Pascal Danel (who leaves for AZ after a first 45T), Martin Circus, Frédéric François, Jacques Dutronc, Françoise Hardy and Axel Bauer. The house also allowed to discover in French-speaking countries singers like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr., the group Abba, Donna Summer, Elton John and many others.
Come and discover the mythical VOGUE studios and the history of the record in Villetaneuse. Equipped at the time of recording studios, an engraving studio and a pressing plant, there remains today only recording studios: an exceptional construction, consists of an external shell of parallelepiped shape and an internal shell in cement blocks that corrects the diffusion of frequencies inside.
