In 1899, Arthur Schweitzer acquired 2,150 m² of land with the idea of building, in a more modest way, a replica of the Grand Trianon of Versailles. It became the property of Count Robert de Montesquieu in 1908\. Organizer of refined parties, this dandy inspired Proust his Baron de Charlus. At his death (1921), the house was bought by the Marquise Casati who lived there a few years before this beautiful building passed into the hands of successive owners.
