Château de Beaumont-sur-Oise
Place du Château 95260 Beaumont-sur-Oise
Seat of power of the Counts of Beaumont-sur-Oise from the 11th to the 13th century, then royal residence from Louis IX, the Château de Beaumont houses a stately stone home, ramparts modelled on the Château du Louvre in Paris and the Prieuré Saint-Leonor, Clunisian monastery. We offer a tour of the remains of this prestigious past and present the volunteer activities that enhance the site today.
