Autumn 2023: exhibition
Michaël Cailloux presents Entre les eaux et les arbres, an immersive exhibition at the Château de Villiers in Draveil, offering visitors a unique experience. The exhibition invites visitors to wander freely through the different rooms, where the artist’s felt drawings, etchings and copper and gold sculptures reveal with subtlety and fascination the beauty and fragility of nature. The opportunity also to discover the specimens, works in drawing and paper cut with four hands with the artist Julie Yülle. This event has special significance as it celebrates the centenary of Bambi, the timeless work of Félix Salten published in 1923. In preview, visitors will have the opportunity to discover the drawings of Michaël Cailloux’s next book, Bambi: la véritable histoire, which will be published on October 20, 2023 by Delachaux and Niestlé. The artist also presents works by Luxuriante Nature, the first monograph devoted to his work from 2009 to today, a retrospective that allows you to discover the different media he likes.
This exhibition respects the theme of our Autumns, which takes up the motto of the city of Draveil "Inter undas et arbores", between the waters and the trees. A highlight of a great and rich natural heritage.
