Since November 2022, the Yvelines Department, as part of its privileged partnership with the Palace of Versailles, has been hosting the Réveil de la pierre site-exhibition in a shed of the former Dunlopillo factory in Mantes-la-Jolie. Four carved groups of the Orangerie du Château are restored for a period of two years, during which, every Tuesday, the public can access them. On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the Awakening of the Stone opens its doors more widely: to school students on Friday 15 September 2023, to the associative public on Saturday 16 September 2023 and to the general public on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 September 2023 afternoon. A special program will be in the spotlight: workshops, mediation and animations will be offered on these three days.
