Open pit quarry of sand and gravel, old alluvium of the Marne valley. This former alluvial deposit of the Marne Valley is composed of gravel and hard silico-limestone pebbles of the Jurassic, ovoid or flattened, with a power of up to 5m. Extracted and transformed on site, they then join the most contemporary constructions and architectures.
