Fascinating, modern, moving... Discover the stained glass window like you’ve never seen.
Located in the heart of Troyes, the City of Stained Glass offers a journey in the heart of stained glass, from the Middle Ages to the present day, giving the keys to understand and appreciate this art in all its dimensions. Its permanent exhibition offers more than 60 original works at eye level (regularly renewed). It is also home to temporary exhibitions, a study and research centre, and educational space.
Visiting the City of Stained Glass also means discovering its historic setting, such as the Hôtel-Dieu-le-Comte, a remarkable 18th century complex, completely restored. The Apothecary, among the most beautiful in France, preserves an exceptional collection of earthenware pots and pharmaceutical boxes in painted wood of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
