Musées de Troyes / Federica Falsaperla

What if your children discovered the museum while having fun? This new game booklet, designed and produced by Federica Falsaperla, student of the Master of Heritage and Museums of the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne/ Campus des Comtes de Champagne de Troyes is offered to all young visitors from the age of 6.
Like an investigation to discover the masterpieces of the Renaissance in Champagne to discover the architecture of the museum, as well as its paintings, sculptures and stained glass windows, through a journey made of enigmas to decipher.
The goal will be to help an apprentice sculptor find his master, hidden in the museum. He is the only one who knows the secrets of his art. Will you be able to guide him?
For school children from 6 years.

Located facing portal(gate) of the church Saint-Pantaléon, the Hotel of Vauluisant is one of the rare stone buildings of the city of Troy. He(It) presents a rich facade typical of architecture Renaissance, with his(its) decoration(set) of front walls(pediments), cartouches(cartridges), cherubs, garlands. Two turrets frame(supervise) this detached house(flag) the 16th century, from which the one shelters a staircase with screw. The conical roofs are adorned with elegant ears of ridgepole topped with a sun and with a moon. He(It) is built in the location of a convent which depended on the cistercienne abbey on Vauluisant (Yonne) in the 12th century. In 1524, this house is destroyed by the fire which devastates a lot of the city of Troy. By 1550, Antoine Hennequin builds the detached house(flag) with turrets. The body of the building(ship) in return for carpenter's square is raised(brought up) to the 17th century by the famous family Mesgrigny which leaves the building(ship) in 1826\.
