The cathedral of Reims, masterpiece of Gothic art and cradle of the coronation of the kings of France, is one of the very first monuments listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It welcomes one million visitors each year.
Masterpiece of Gothic art built from 1211, it was damaged during the First World War. The cathedral features an architectural feat of the 20th century: a reinforced concrete framework, developed by the architect Henri Deneux, as well as a set of contemporary stained glass designed by Marc Chagall (1974) and Imi Knoebel (2011).
Some important figures about this religious building:

* Of the 2302 statues, 58 king statues make up the facade
