In this old underground quarry, you will go back in time and dive into the sea that covered the region of Sancerrois at the time of the dinosaurs! Guided by the videos commented by Professor Yves Coppens and his assistant, and by the unique geological map made by a geologist of the BRGM (national geological service), you will discover how the landscapes of the region were formed and why Sancerre presents such special terroirs. You can admire strange fossils, local, from France or from around the world, as well as objects carved by the first men.
