Old(Former) ownership of the Archbishops of Tours(Ballots,Towers), who came rest(base) in the area around the Indre there, the Manor of Mothe is a remarkable house of the XVth century. This country house was also the ownership of the general André Maginot, French politician of the IIIth Republic, well known for its line of fortification, at the end of the XIXth century.
