Jacques Groslot, bailiff of the city, makes build in Renaissance this house which, after Revolution, the Town hall becomes. To answer its new functions(offices) better, the hotel makes then the object of reorganisations, in particular the addition of two wings. The interior design, realised between 1850 and 1854, is of Gothic style "troubadour"; his(her,its) lounges(shows) present to the visitors several remarkable rooms(parts,plays): a wooden safe(chest) offered by Louis XI to the canons of Saint-Aignan, an other one dating the XVIth century, as well as the diverse paintings(boards).
