Animation proposed by the Agglo Tourist Office of the Pays de Dreux in partnership with the Conservatory of Natural Spaces as part of the European Mobility Week and the European Heritage Days.

Located 15 km north of Dreux, the Cailles Valley is made up of limestone lawns and afforestations inserted in a dry valley bordering the state-owned forest. A site of great botanical interest, lawns were formerly maintained by a pasture that gradually disappeared in the early 1980s. The site’s natural resources have made it a regional nature reserve in February 2012.
