Pierre-Jean Morand is a carpenter’s companion of the Tour de France. For fifteen years, he has managed the MDB (Métiers du Bois) Bourges, a carpentry and framing company certified as a Living Heritage Company. Pierre-Jean and his team build or rehabilitate all forms of frames, frames, ironwork from the oldest to the most modern in the greatest of the Compagnonnage rules. They are part of the coalition in charge of the renovation of the structure of the Notre-Dame de Paris spire. Transmitting, preserving and updating the know-how he perpetuates in his workshops is part of his DNA and helps to keep our heritage alive.
