Guided tour of the seminary of Saint-Curé-d'Ars
"Maison Lacordaire" - 200 years of religious life
Come relive two centuries of religious presence in Flavigny by walking through the corridors of the Lacordaire House, now an international seminar.
The guided tour (about 1h) will introduce you to the history and the current life of this place including the former hotel of the Bailli de l'Auxois (13th century). You will see the cloister and its garden, the Lacordaire oratory, the ground floor and the church.You can freely visit the high courtyard, admire the view of the Ozerain valley and the Flavigny vineyard, the vegetable garden, the linden tree of 1849, the Lacordaire pavilion of the eighteenth century, collect you in the Dominican cemetery.
