In a vast 16th-century residence, the museum houses a rich collection, bequeathed by its founder, Philippe Makedonsky. Eight rooms present alive collections of tools and objects that evoke the know-how, trades and domestic life of yesteryear, carpenters, coopers, sabotiers, the meticulous reconstruction of a forge of the nineteenth century, a winery and a peasant dwelling.
