ÎLE Ô, the world’s first floating theatre-building, opens its doors for a weekend on the occasion of the Matrimoine/Heritage Days.
Come and discover what is hidden inside this mysterious cascade of floating cubes imagined by the Dutch architect Koen Olthuis and moored since this year on the banks of the Rhone next to the Gallieni bridge.
After crossing the 9m long footbridge over the Rhone, discover a theatre unlike any other.
We offer small and large visitors. To walk freely in our spaces in order to be surprised by the different light and sound environments designed especially for the occasion.
The room of the Petit Théâtre will be specially dressed to welcome its spectators.ice. s privileged.e.s: children.
The hall of the Grand Theatre will reveal its organic case in spruce, beech and bamboo that will awaken everyone’s imagination.
If our scenes take, over the cultural seasons, the costumes of the companies welcomed, we have here the opportunity to highlight a unique architectural achievement.
