An old fortified house that has become a private residence, the "Fontlozier Castle", also known as the "Murat Castle", is at the centre of an old agricultural estate, owned by big names who have made Valencia famous. It has a wooded park that will be opened exceptionally to the visit. Located below the house, it allows to embrace the essential of the building.

Located on the southern outskirts of the city of Valencia, the Murat-Fontlozier estate is located on the border between the green Lautagne plateau in the east and the city in the west. It has preserved its green setting despite the urban expansion at its feet in the twentieth century, consisting of residential subdivisions and a commercial area. This former fortified house of the Valentine countryside, transformed into a pleasure residence in the seventeenth century, has kept until today its residential use.
