The association AnimMazoires proposes to discover three elements of the local heritage through a hike around the volcano of Domarège. The proposed circuit varies between 10 and 14 km mainly on easily accessible paths (communal roads, forest roads). The first visit will take place at the Angles quarry around 10am (then 10:30am) with a presentation of the exploitation of pozzolan, followed by an explanation of the volcanism of Domarège. The second visit is planned in the early afternoon (around 14:45 then 15:30) at the mill of Ribeyre, under restoration: cereal mill before the Revolution, operating by locks on the stream of Flay.
The departure of the hike is planned at the Saint Saturnin Church of Mazoires at 9:30 am, then at 10 am. It is possible to park your car nearby. Return for the fastest around 16h.
