Moulinage Jean-Baptiste MARTIN
The Jean-Baptiste Martin mill, registered in the additional inventory of historical monuments, will soon experience a new life. By the end of next year, work will begin to transform this place so that it hosts the departmental media library, the future headquarters of the agglomeration community, the music school and a learning center. As part of the JEP 2023 It opens to all curious people before its renovation. On this occasion, the City of Tarare, in association with the company Les Mères Tape Dur offers several activities within the building:
• On Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 12pm, it will be possible to visit a plateau of the Jean-Baptiste Martin building, to discover the chapel and its sumptuous ceiling as well as an exhibition on the history of the estate. Free visit, without registration.
• On Saturday and Sunday, at 2pm and 5pm, the show "Wait for the storm to pass" will be performed by the company Tape Dur Mothers, in the building of the mill. Prices: 15€ full price, 10€ reduced price. Registration recommended on the Mothers Tape Dur website. https://www.lesmerestapedur.fr/
