The churches of the 19th century were built thanks to the financing of the parishioners. The project of the Bois-d'Oingt of Romanesque style and stones of the local quarries was wanted vast and well decorated.The stained glass windows recall the life of Saints chosen by their donors. Thus left traces, the stained glass craftsman, but also the families who remember here their respect for this or that boss according to their profession or their first name.
These subscriptions were part of a great generosity. Open during the day, the Bois-d'Oingt church is a living heritage in the 21st century. Go to the kiosk.
