Adobe, adobe, mud or compressed earth block, poured earth, insulated walls in straw or hemp bundles, bamboo frames, reed covers, etc. «TerraFibra Architectures» unveils the 40 finalists of the first world prize for contemporary architecture in raw earth and plant fibers. The exhibition and accompanying book present these international projects and explain, through a thematic route, the qualities and advantages of these materials as well as the techniques, old or innovative, that implement them. This exhibition is co-produced by the Pavillon de l'Arsenal, amàco and the Grands Ateliers, it is presented simultaneously to archipel and the CAUE Rhône Métropole. Guided tours accompanied by a mediator-architect are offered on Saturday and Sunday upon registration at 3pm, 4pm, 5pm and 6pm. (from 8 years old)
