Für Indien(s) im Plural haben wir uns entschieden, sechs Fotografen aus der Galerie zu präsentieren, darunter unveröffentlichte für William Klein, Bernard Plossu, Marc Riboud und Denis Roche und zwei Gäste Françoise Nuñez (vertreten durch Camera Obscura) und Raghu Rai* (indischer Fotograf von Magnum).
Alle lassen ihrer Wahrnehmung freien Lauf, ohne Protokoll oder vorsätzliches Programm. Sie machen ein Foto, das in den Herausforderungen des Aktes verankert ist.
Unser Zusammenstoß wird die tiefe Zeit eines jeden und seine Poesie in einen Dialog bringen. So entsteht eine kaleidoskopische Vision dieses Landes, das eine ganze Generation fasziniert hat.
*2019 ist Raghu Rai Preisträger der 1. Ausgabe des Preises für Fotografie der Akademie der Schönen Künste - William Klein.

For Inde(s) au pluriel, we have chosen to present six photographers of the gallery including unpublished for William Klein, Bernard Plossu, Marc Riboud and Denis Roche and two guests Françoise Nuñez (represented by Camera Obscura) and Raghu Rai* (Indian photographer represented by Magnum).
All leave free rein to their perception, without protocol or premeditated program. They make a photograph that is anchored in the stakes of the act.
Our exhibition will dialogue the deep time of each and his poetry. This will create a kaleidoscopic vision of this country that has fascinated an entire generation.
*In 2019, Raghu Rai is the winner of the 1st edition of the Photography Prize of the Academy of Fine Arts - William Klein.

Per India (s) al plurale, abbiamo scelto di presentare sei fotografi della galleria tra cui inediti per William Klein, Bernard Plossu, Marc Riboud e Denis Roche e due ospiti Françoise Nuñez (rappresentata da Camera Obscura) e Raghu Rai* (fotografo indiano rappresentato da Magnum).
Tutti lasciano libero corso alla loro percezione, senza protocollo né programma premeditato. Fanno una fotografia che si ancora alle poste in gioco dell'atto.
Il nostro scontro metterà in dialogo il tempo profondo di ciascuno e la sua poesia. Si delinea così una visione caleidoscopica di questo paese che ha affascinato un'intera generazione.
*Nel 2019, Raghu Rai è il vincitore della prima edizione del Premio di Fotografia dell'Accademia di Belle Arti - William Klein.

Pour Inde(s) au pluriel, nous avons choisi de présenter six photographes de la galerie dont des inédits pour William Klein, Bernard Plossu, Marc Riboud et Denis Roche et deux invités Françoise Nuñez (représentée par Camera Obscura) et Raghu Rai* (photographe indien représenté par Magnum).
Tous laissent libre cours à leur perception, sans protocole ni programme prémédité. Ils font une photographie qui s’ancre dans les enjeux de l’acte.
Notre accrochage mettra en dialogue le temps profond de chacun et sa poésie. Se dessinera ainsi une vision kaléidoscopique de ce pays qui a fasciné toute une génération.

Todos dejan libre curso a su percepción, sin protocolo ni programa premeditado. Hacen una fotografía que se ancla en los retos del acto.
Nuestra escaramuza pondrá en diálogo el tiempo profundo de cada uno y su poesía. De este modo se perfilará una visión caleidoscópica de este país que ha fascinado a toda una generación.
