After 1800, when construction resumed, the Protestants did not have iconographic documents that could inform them about the general appearance of their razed temples. But family memory had to be able to fill this gap. We try to distinguish ourselves from Catholic churches by original forms. We look for a plan centered with polygonal or circular temples. The interior, always sober, however, shows a true science of space, acoustics and promotes brightness.
