200th anniversary (1823-2023) of the acquisition of the Domaine de la Barbeyère by pastor Louis-François ARNAUD (1790-1864) still owned by the descendants of his son the historian of Protestantism and renowned pastor François-Eugène ARNAUD (1826-1905).
In the 1930s, part of the property was ceded to the architect of civil buildings and national palaces Edouard ARNAUD (1864-1943), nephew of the previous ones, who was a precursor in France of reinforced concrete constructions.
Old country house of the eighteenth built on an old property of BARBEYER, consuls of Crest in the sixteenth century, called the "Countryside of Barbeyère". It was renovated in 1823 by the ARNAUD family, with creation of wash houses, ponds and park.
The winter garden welcomes the young Cuban painter Miguel MACHADO SUAREZ and the park of the installations of the artists PIERECQ, FULACHIER and PAVIN.

House of master, called the Barbeyère built in the sixteenth century, enlarged in the eighteenth century and embellished (park fountains wash and general condition in 1824). The original property consisted of several houses (montée de la Barbeyère), including a silk mill and was surrounded by vineyards and meadows. Traditionally unconfirmed, it was said that originally (before the 16th century) the house would have been a country priory.
A country residence in the sixteenth century of a former bourgeois family of consuls of the city of Crest, the BARBEYER, it entered the BOREL family which gave two mayors of Crest then in 1824 was acquired by the Pastor Louis-François ARNAUD (1790-1864), president of the consistory of Crest and builder of the temples of the Drôme under Louis-Philippe, then residence of his son the historian and pastor François-Eugène ARNAUD (1826-1905), who directed the restoration work of the Tower of Crest between 1885 and 1888.
