Built in 1952 on the ruins of the Nouvelles Galeries which burned down in 1938, this 10-storey building is the joint work of architects René Egger, Fernand Pouillon, and Jean-Louis Sourdeau. It took 5 years between its delivery and the first feasibility studies in 1947\. The building is now labeled Heritage of the twentieth century and was completely renovated at the end of 2018.
