Young and old alike are invited to embark on a unique mythological adventure: the wonderful stories of Theseus. Come and discover as a family, extracts of Ovid’s Metamorphoses in resonance with six painted panels representing the cycle of Theseus.

Housed in the former palace of the archbishops whose construction begins at the beginning of the fourteenth century. during the installation of the papacy in Avignon, the museum of the Petit Palais enjoys a prestigious location on the square of the Palace of the Popes, at the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage site. Opened since 1976, the museum presents collections from two distinct origins: the collection of Italian paintings collected by the Marquis Campana in the first half of the 19th century, constituting an exceptional repository of the Louvre Museum, and a set of Provençal paintings and sculptures from the Middle Ages deposited by the Calvet Foundation.
