Discovery of the Cairanne Heritage (Vaucluse)
Cairanne (Vaucluse): Programme of the 2022 Heritage Days, organized by the Association Cairanne and its old village in partnership with the City Council 1) The visit of an old troglodyte oil mill installed in saffron caves under the church. A rare moment. 2) The commented presentation of six paintings from the 17th and 18th centuries 'rediscovered' recently and restored. In particular a painting by Louis Parrocel (1634-1694), a Provençal painter, of whom only 12 are known. 3) The heritage trail: ramparts, fortified gates, keep and a steering table installed this year.
