Each year for the JEP, we program this walk in order to continue transmitting this Arméno-Marseillaise memory. This walk is based on several works carried out by our association Paroles Vives. In 2006-2007, we collected from the descendants of the Armenian diaspora in the Bouches-du-Rhône, no less than 164 hours of recorded testimonies from 120 people. These recordings can be consulted in the reading room at the Archives Départementales 13 in Marseille, on the website of the Phonothèque de la MMSH (Aix-en-Pce) and Calames. It is also the occasion for the walkers to discover the exhibition «Armenian Memories in the Bouches-du-Rhône» that we realized in 2015 for the Departmental Archives. Non-walkers will also be able to see the exhibition from 3pm at the Sourp Hagop Armenian Church, located at 7 Boulevard Arthur Michaud, 13015 Marseille.
