Nestled in the heart of a village of character, the Département de la Vendée invites you to discover the Abbey Saint-Vincent de Nieul sur l'Autise, one of the rare complete monastic ensembles of Bas-Poitou. A perfect example of the rigour of monastic life at the time, the 12th century cloister is today the only fully preserved Romanesque cloister in western France.
