Street Art
STREET ART: The Communauté de Communes Châteaubriant-Derval has set up with the Collectif 100 Pression an artistic and cultural education residence in the field of Street Art. The artists of the Collectif 100 Pression have made creations in several communes to enhance the local heritage and the memory of the territory. Wide and The Blind intervened on the wall of an old ruined property. They illustrated the local heritage by representing a minor in connection with the former career of the municipality. Wide, by its aesthetic of the digital defect evokes the erasure and ephemerity of this disappeared industry. The slogan «Au gré du grès» and its typography are a nod to the old advertisements. The Blind’s Braille and Volume sentence “see the light at the end of the tunnel and hope it’s not a train” reminds us of past railway activity in the region.
